Piled on Prints

This weekend included the perfect mix of work and play. My boyfriend and I hung out with friends, going to all you can eat sushi (dangerous), listening to great music and playing board games. We also sneaked in a movie (Hunger Games) and watched the Mad Men premiere. Yesterday, a few blogger friends and I (Erica, Elizabeth, Jammie and Jessica) went to a blogger flea market put on my some of my favorite local bloggers and ended the afternoon with mimosas at brunch.

I bought this high low, silk, printed dress last-minute for an event. The weather here has been chilly the past few days, so I wore a shirt and cashmere sweater over to make it cozier.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Did you guys see Hunger Games or watch Mad Men? If so, would love to hear what you thought below! I really enjoyed the costumes and beauty looks of the movie’s Capital characters.

Printed dress: Bar III via Macy’s (similar here and here), belt: H&M, sandals: Franco Sarto (old), shirt: BDG via Urban Outfitters, cashmere sweater: Bloomingdale’s (old), clutch: American Apparel, pearls: H&M, name plate necklace: gift from best friend, bracelets: Asos (chain link), leather and gold bracelet purchased in Italy years ago, Sheila Fajl (bangles),vintage (triple strand), rings: Diament Designs via Etsy, XIV Karats and LF (wood, similar).

  1. With all the packing and errands I clearly won’t have time to watch The Hunger Games until I get to Mexico (and believe it or not cinemas are soooo much cooler there than in London, so perhaps worth the wait!). Dying though!

OK, enough ranting! I love your skirt darling, you looked lovely!
